How does this medication work?
Daliresp is thought to work by reducing swelling in your lungs.
This medication is not used for emergency or immediate treatment of symptoms of asthma or COPD. Always have a short-acting rescue inhaler (such as albuterol) to treat sudden symptoms.
What are the beneficial effects of this medication and when should I begin to have results?
What: Daliresp has been shown to decrease the number of flare-ups or worsening of COPD symptoms such as coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath, thereby improving your lung function.
When: Everyone responds differently to treatment, so try to be patient and follow your healthcare provider's directions. It is important that you take Daliresp exactly as your healthcare provider has prescribed.
How do I know it is working?
Your healthcare provider may perform tests to check your lung function and may ask you questions to assess how well your symptoms are controlled.
