Tegreen® is a standardized, decaffeinated polyphenol extract of young green tea leaves, with proven free radical scavenging and antioxidant properties.1
Studies have demonstrated that the polyphenols in green tea, particularly the catechin component, offer potent antioxidant activity through the scavenging of free radicals.1
Antioxidant supplementation may also offer some protective benefits to the skin from free radical damage. Among the polyphenols that are antioxidants in green tea, EGCg and ECG show the strongest effect in reducing collagenase activity—an enzyme that breaks down collagen.1
Additional third party research shows that green tea supplementation may help improve lipid and glucose metabolism, maintain normal insulin sensitivity, and support a healthy metabolic rate.1
Each capsule contains 250 mg of extract of green tea leaves (Camellia sinensis) standardized to a minimum 97% pure polyphenols including 162 mg catechins, of which 95 mg is EGCg.
Take 1-2 capsules twice daily with water and food. Maximum recommended dose of 4 capsules daily (1,000 mg). Do not exceed 1,200 mg green tea extract in combination with other green tea-containing supplements.
