How does this medication work?
Multi-vitamin with fluoride and iron provides nine essential vitamins (such as vitamin A, C, and D) and fluoride. Vitamins are natural substances and help your body to grow and function normally. Fluoride works by helping to strengthen teeth.

When: Everyone responds differently to treatment, so try to be patient and follow your healthcare provider’s directions. It is important that you use multi-vitamin with fluoride and iron exactly as your healthcare provider has prescribed.
How do I know it is working?
Your healthcare provider may perform tests to ensure adequate vitamin supplementation, including routine dental examinations twice a year.
The following is not a full list of side effects. Side effects cannot be anticipated. If any develop or change in intensity, tell your healthcare provider as soon as possible. Only your healthcare provider can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking this medication.
Side effects may include: rash.
Do not use multi-vitamin with fluoride and iron if you are allergic to it or any of its ingredients.
Tell your healthcare provider about all prescription, over-the-counter, and herbal medications you are taking before beginning treatment with multi-vitamin with fluoride and iron. Also, talk to your healthcare provider about your complete medical history, especially if your child is receiving significant amounts of fluoride from other sources (such as medications or swallowed toothpaste).
The information below is based on the dosage guidelines your healthcare provider uses. Depending on your condition and medical history, your healthcare provider may prescribe a different regimen. Do not change the dosage or stop taking your medication without your healthcare provider's approval.
Children < 2 years: The usual dose is 1 milliliter a day, or as directed by your healthcare provider.
Use multi-vitamin with fluoride and iron exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
Multi-vitamin with fluoride and iron may be dropped directly into the mouth with the enclosed dropper, or may be mixed with cereal, fruit juice, or other food as instructed by your healthcare provider.
Do not use multi-vitamin with fluoride and iron more or stop using it without first talking to your healthcare provider.
No significant interactions have been reported with multi-vitamin with fluoride and iron at this time. However, always tell your healthcare provider about any medicines you take, including over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
This medicine is only used in children.
If you miss a dose of multi-vitamin with fluoride and iron, use it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and return to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take two doses at once.
Store at room temperature. After opening, store away from direct light.
